About Us

  Jamie has been in the salon industry for almost eight years and has worked at three salons. Towards the end of her seventh year in the industry she began to see patronage at the salon start to get slower and slower. She decided to take things into her own hands and make her dreams a reality. I have been in the business world all my life.  My grandfather started the Jack Richeson Co., an art manufacturing company, about 25 years ago and ever since then I have grown up in the business world.  

      In 2009 Jamie told me about an opportunity that a client told her about and we jumped on it.  I figured with my knowledge of the business world and Jamie’s extensive knowledge and skills in cosmetology, there was no reason that we couldn’t be successful with enough hard work.  Needless to say after ALOT of hard work and many long hours put in by friends and family, we had ourselves a business! 

      We started off with the motto that everyone deserves the best possible service for a very reasonable price.  It seems to be working because we have a thriving business and a wonderful staff to keep it going.  Without them, none of this would be possible. Times are tough for everyone right now and we would like to help. We truly believe that there is no reason you should you have to walk around not feeling at the top of your game. We created Shear Gardens Hair Studio and Spa to inspire you and to create a look that fits your personality and lifestyle.  Jamie and I want every guest walking our door feeling great about their selves without having to break the bank!
